Oded Shenkar

Oded Shenkar is the Ford Motor Company Chair in Global Business Management and Professor of Management & Human Resources, Fisher of Business, The Ohio State University. Professor Shenkar’s research interests include international business, particularly comparative and international management.

Raj Sharma

Mr. Sharma is the founder of the Federal Acquisition Innovation and Reform Institute, a Visiting Fellow at the Center for American Progress, and Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Censeo Consulting Group. Much of his work is focused on driving large-scale efficiencies, reducing costs, and improving the overall effectiveness of the federal agencies through the application of proven commercial and public-sector best practices.

Rob Seidner

Rob Seidner is a PhD student in the Graduate Program in Public Administration at the University of Illinois–Chicago. He earned his MBA from Brandeis University’s Heller School for Social Policy and Management, as well his BA from Brandeis. He completed a Presidential Management Fellow appointment as a human resource specialist in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s Human Capital Leadership and Merit System Compliance division.

Philip W. Spayd

Prior to joining Global Trade Systems in January 2004, Mr. Spayd served for twenty five years with the US Customs Service and Department of Homeland Security, working in the US and representing US Customs globally. He was a founding director of Operations Safe Commerce, the first public-private partnership to develop mechanisms to enhance the security of international supply chains.

Mr. Spayd was awarded the Coalition of New England Companies for Trade (CONECT) Annual Person of the Year Award for his contributions to the facilitation of international trade in New England.

Hannah Sistare

Hannah S. Sistare served as Staff Director and Counsel to Senator Fred Thompson on the United States Senate Governmental Affairs Committee from 1995 to 2002. She has held positions within the Departments of Health and Human Services and Labor and has taught at both George Washington University and American University. She also served as Chief of Staff to Senator Charles H. Percy and as Chief Legislative Assistant to former Senate Republican Leader Hugh Scott. She is currently a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution.

 

Mary Shelley

Mary Shelley is a research associate at the Jerry Lee Center of Criminology at the University of Pennsylvania. She has constructed and managed data systems, and has conducted statistical programming and analysis for evaluations of government programs and public policy research projects for over 10 years.

Michael D. Serlin

Michael D. Serlin is currently writing and consulting on public service change after a thirty-six year Federal career. He retired in 1994 from the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Management Service. As an Assistant Commissioner, he directed innovations in electronic funds transfer and financial operations for the U.S. Government and initiated entrepreneurial administrative support across agencies.

Dr. Rodney Scott

Dr. Rodney Scott is currently a visiting fellow at the Ash Center For Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University, where he is completing a research project exploring methods for managing (and improving) the performance of senior public servants. Dr. Scott is the Principal Research Fellow for New Zealand’s State Services Commission, where he leads the public management research programme and provides advice on public sector design and evaluation. Paul Schoukens

Paul Schoukens is Professor of Social Security Law (Comparative, International and European) at the K.U.Leuven (Catholic University of Leuven). He is general coordinator of the European Institute of Social Security, a scientific association with more than 400 members across Europe. Within the K.U.Leuven, he is working for the European section of the Institute of Social Law, organized as the Research Unit on European Social Security (RUESS). He mainly teaches subjects on European, international, and comparative social security law.
