At over $400 billion annually for contracts, even minor inefficiencies and gaps in effectiveness can result in the losses of billions of dollars. Applause on that statement! I have worked in the Fed Acq Biz for 16 years recently moving to VA Contracting from DoD. I thought the lack of oversight was bad there but now its nonexistant. The rest of your comments are fact also. Wow, how can that much money an effort go unmangaged! Are the Top Leaders of the Acquistion Workforce unable to influence anyone to make this issue appear on the scope of anyone who can provide help to start working on some workforce, rules and policy to provide some relief to us who try everyday to manage a impossible contract workload?
