Ruth is the Operations Manager for the IBM Center for The Business of Government. She oversees the Center's operations, finances, website, and social media channels. During her 20-year tenure at IBM (and PricewaterhouseCoopers pre-merger), Ruth also worked on a variety of government and nonprofit technology and process improvement projects. Government agencies included the FCC, GSA, HHS, SSA, and USAID.

Previously, Ruth managed the websites of two youth-oriented nonprofits, Stand for Children, an organization born from The Children's Defense Fund and Youth Service America. Her first foray in website programming and design was with start-up HuskyLabs, a company that designed many first and second iterations of websites such as Penguin Books and Radio Expeditions, a co-production of NPR and the National Geographic Society.

Ruth also worked in the mediation and early neutral evaluation programs of the U.S. Courts for the District of Columbia Circuit.

She holds a B.A. from Indiana University.
