He has led large operational organizations of more than 9,000 employees and over 125 executives, overseeing activities that generated up to $4 billion annually. His work reflects a long-standing focus on organizational performance, strategic direction, and operational integrity.

Harris’s career includes significant tenure at IBM, where he held several key leadership roles. Among these were serving as Global Managing Partner for IBM’s Public Sector Consulting Services, a position in which he directed major federal and state initiatives, and General Manager for Healthcare and Insurance Outsourcing, where he oversaw service delivery in complex, highly regulated environments. He later advanced into broader leadership roles, including responsibilities within market development and enterprise-level risk initiatives.

Before founding his own practice, Harris served as Chairman and CEO of MedidaMetrics, a healthcare analytics firm known for its Activity-Based Costing software. The company’s platform helped hospitals evaluate operational decisions and model their financial and clinical impacts, contributing to the firm’s acquisition by the Mayo Clinic.

Since 2014, Harris has led Harris & Associates, where he provides strategic guidance to emerging and mid-sized organizations. His work focuses on organizational planning, operational improvement, and business development, with an emphasis on clarity, structured analysis, and practical implementation.
