Director, Technology & Innovation
Partnership for Public Service
Mark Lerner leads the Partnership’s technology and innovation portfolio, where he works to build a modern government that delivers equitable services and effective outcomes to the public by employing modern ways of working. Mark is an active member of the public interest tech community, where he has long worked to bring modern ways of building digital services into government. His prior work and research with the Harvard Kennedy School, the U.S. Digital Service, the City of San Francisco, and other organizations have built up his love for public service. Mark’s favorite public servants are the frontline workers that engage directly with the public, and often work in spite of outdated technology and processes to help those in need.
